Los Angeles Postpartum Doula Services

Care for the whole passage, not just the baby

The postpartum period is a profound reorganization of body, identity, relationships, and nervous systems. When new parents feel actually supported in all of those aspects there is more space to focus on healing and nourishment rather than stress, anxiety and worry. Our work is to walk alongside you through that transition with practical care, emotional steadiness, and experienced guidance.

We are there to help build rhythms that actually support healing.

Our Approach

We refuse to minimize the normal but very confronting identity shifts. We offer no judgement about the decisions and values that work for your family. We know that one-size-fits-all solutions fail new families every day and lead to feelings of guilt and shame that can make it harder to find your way forward.

Physical recovery and nervous system regulation

Ways we support families Postpartum

  • "I can't speak highly enough of Dawn and Brana. They were phenomenal during our entire journey and showed so much care postpartum as well. They make a phenomenal team and I would gladly work with them again!”

    —Dylan C

  • "They truly have what it takes to meet the mind, body, soul, psyche, and any and everything else this huge life moment brings up. I'm so thankful to both of them. The single most important investment of my pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey"

    —Martha P

  • "I love that, even a year later, we still keep in touch, and they continue to help me when I feel unsure or need guidance. Brana and Dawn are not just doulas; they truly feel like extended family. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with them and how much they supported not just me, but my husband too."

    —Danielle E
