The Path

At Deep Well Doulas, we believe postpartum is not a time to “bounce back” but to be lovingly supported as you return to yourself.
Belly binding is a centuries-old practice we offer as both physical support and a meaningful postpartum ritual—designed to help you feel grounded, contained, and cared for.

The plan.

    Warm and Prepare

    We begin with a tea and healthy snack, and either a foot soak or sit bath. The we continue with a gentle abdominal massage using oils to nourish and warm your tissues and womb.

    Wrap and Support

    We apply a traditional belly bind, tailored to your body, to support healing, improve posture, and bring a sense of containment.

    Teach and Empower

    You or your partner/support person will learn how to safely rebind at home so the benefits continue between sessions.
