Not sure where to start? Let’s figure it out together

it’s normal to want to stay in control

One of the biggest struggles in the path to becoming a mother is undoing the deep-seated belief that what has gotten us this far in life is what will get us through birth and the identity shift of new parenthood too: Control. Checklists. More information. Doing everything “right.”

But you’re sorting through conflicting advice, uncertain how to make sense of your options, assuming that more information will fix that unprepared anxiety in your gut. You’re adding to the stack of books by your bedside and to the pile of boxes by the door as if that will give you the thing your nervous system is really looking for. The thing that will allow you to fully surrender to what birth will require of you.

What if you could feel more held, more heard. More supported by experienced guides who deeply respect your own expertise and authority, but also understand that giving birth in these modern times requires a little more from you than just trust in your body. Information is vital. But information alone doesn’t ground you.

What if you didn’t have to carry it alone?
What if you were supported, guided by evidence, and could draw from something beyond the surface level tactics that worked in the mundane pre-pregnancy life.

That’s the shift we create through the Deep Well Method.

Families often come to us with memorized answers to questions like when to go to the hospital. They leave with much more nuance, context and a better understanding of how they can ready themselves on a level deeper than control.

Our workshops stay on that deeper level, where we explore what it really means to have a good birth beyond words like “painless” and “easy.” Our birth planning sessions aren’t just a template with boxes to check but opportunities to explore options not even presented while processing hidden fears. Our birth support doesn’t depend on knowing how many centimeters your cervix is open, it depends on your deep knowing that you want hands-on support.

After birth, something else begins to take root.

Everyone is surprised by how meaningful the community becomes. A sense of the long-lost village is intentionally built week by week through our postpartum circle and monthly gatherings where the complicated feelings that accompany new parenthood are validated and normalized in the simplest and most profound ways. The full range of the experience is welcomed, witnessed, and tended to by your doulas and by the families who have been walking alongside you throughout your journey.
We’re here to help you find your footing, trust your voice, and move through this threshold in a way that honors your family and your deeper values.

Two Doulas, One Circle of Care

A Los Angeles–based birth and postpartum doula partnership rooted in evidence-based care, psychological depth, and true continuity of support through every phase of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

We are two aligned, medically trained, trauma-informed doulas with over three decades of combined experience supporting thousands of families through the transition to parenthood. Our work draws from current research while honoring the psychological, emotional, and physiological needs of the whole family unit.

We understand this transition as more than an event. It is an identity shift and an important rite of passage.

Through that lens, we support families not only practically, but mentally and emotionally by helping you stay grounded, clear, and steady as you move through each stage. This is not just about having the right information. It’s about knowing how to let go, surrender fully, and take the journey one step at a time.

What This Means for you

  • Because we work as a true partnership, we’re able to meet you with a level of steadiness that is hard to find in solo care. When you call in the middle of the night, you are met by someone who is rested, present, and ready to hold what’s in front of you.

  • If one of us is at another birth or under the weather, the other steps in without disruption to your care. You know us both equally, and we both know your story and your needs and desires. We stay in close communication so nothing gets lost and you are never starting over with someone new.

  • This structure allows us to respond more intuitively. You don’t have to wait until active labor to be supported. If things begin to stir physically or emotionally we are available to step in.

  • Birth doesn’t run on a schedule. It can unfold over days, with long stretches of uncertainty before things intensify. Because we work together, we don’t have to hold back or conserve energy. We can meet you in it without hesitation.

  • Working with us means you are not held by one person managing the limits of being human alone, but by a partnership designed for depth, continuity, and sustainability. This is what allows us to stay so attentive and responsive throughout your entire experience.

  • It also opens the door to a wider circle of care. Through small group workshops, community gatherings, and postpartum support, you are stepping into more support and the kind of connection that extends beyond a single relationship.

  • For those who desire an even more immersive level of care, this foundation allows us to go further, offering a more continuous, hands-on presence through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, where very little is left unattended.

What your support WILL look like

Feel informed: Knowledge Meets Knowing

We integrate up-to-date research, somatic nervous system regulation, and optimal fetal positioning techniques to help you move through birth in emotional and physical alignment. We understand the physiological needs of a laboring person and their baby, as well as the many intricacies of that process. The information we share is always relevant to your unique situation.

Our decades of experience come in handy, but we offer that experience as a complement to your own deep knowing of your body, values, and instincts. The process of coming to decisions you feel confident about may require sifting through information, fears, and projections first. True informed consent often needs context and data, but there is a fine line between providing information and taking over as the expert of your experience. Using the Deep Well Method, we teach you how to stay in the driver’s seat throughout the journey.

Feel Heard: Two Doulas One Steady Presence

You don’t just get a doula; you get twice the experience, twice the preparation, and twice the ability to hold your family’s needs across your journey.

We stay in close contact throughout pregnancy, answering questions, addressing fears, and offering solutions to discomforts that are often brushed aside by standard medical care. Each of our clients knows we are just a text or call away, so anxieties and uncertainties never need to fester. Simply having someone witness and normalize what you’re experiencing goes a long way in easing stress and fear.

We encourage families to reach out freely before turning to forums or outside advice because the more we connect, the stronger our relationship and your trust in us becomes. Over the years, we continue to offer guidance for beloved families navigating decisions well beyond birth: weaning, potty training, and the evolving rhythms of parenthood. We form deep connections and are honored to be present, listen, and offer insight at every stage.

The Deep Well Method is quietly woven into how we hold you. You are encouraged to embody steadiness, clarity, and grounded decision-making while receiving care that meets you wherever you are, supports what matters most, and honors the full arc of your transition into parenthood.

Feel Held: Education and Community

Our doula packages include childbirth education workshops where coping skills and comfort techniques are practiced, and postpartum and lactation workshops covering newborn behavior, soothing techniques, and breastfeeding. Monthly gatherings for pregnant and postpartum families and weekly postpartum support circles provide space for mothers to connect.

These small-group interactions often grow into friendships that extend well beyond class: coffee meetups, walks, nanny shares, and book clubs that carry families through sleep regressions and developmental leaps intact. While we cannot fully replace the intergenerational support that humans once had, our community intentionally alleviates some of the isolation experienced by new parents in Los Angeles, giving families a sense of village and continuity that endures well past birth.

“I didn’t know I was the kind of person who would want to be in a circle with a bunch of new moms after giving birth, but I’m finding the weekly sessions to be such a vital part of my healing. It’s been a special space that I look forward to every week.”
